hey folks. im super pregnant if you can't tell.

today i am feeling grateful.
sheesh, pretty blessed i am.

BUT

sometimes i have real bad bad brazil days (its a phrase the other american mom taught me), and actually sometimes i have bad brazil weeks... now that is a phrase i made up. but then some days i remember how incredibly blessed this little life of mine really is. like today.

it all started when i was eating my premium mcdanolds salad outside on our front porch after i put henry to sleep. (mikey's is super fancy here, like pizza hut. henry is sick so he only eats a few things- chicken nuggets is one of the items, so we made a mcdizzle run tonight for dinner. duh.) i had a few contractions (totally stopped now, no worries) and started thinking about meeting baby boy. oh!  i am so excited. only because i know how much joy he is going to bring to our little family and it just makes me smile.

henry is my best buddy. he is the brightest little sunshine ball, the sweetest hug giver, the best kiss giver and the funniest, smartest, cutest explorer. from the moment he wakes up to the second he falls asleep, we are together. and we never get sick of each other. i mean, yeah it can get tiring sometimes, because i am also so huge pregnant right now, but i always want that little dude close. i have enjoyed being his mother more then i could have even imagined possible. and now i get another one. in 3 and a half weeks.

i told henry that baby was kicking mommy yesterday at dinner. he looked at me and his eyes got so big. silence. then he looks at my tummy and says... "baby?!"

yep. always kicking me, so. much. kicking going on in there. this jr can rock!

p.s. i read this talk by elder wirthlin tonight and thought it was so fitting for this moment. read it. it's amazing.
